Dymo Label Printer - Dymo LabelWriter 550 Turbo
Dymo label printers are used to print barcodes and address labels from aO. Before you start, confirm that the computer has been rebooted.
If the printer is not showing up in your list of printers within aO, confirm that the printer is added in Windows by going to Start Menu > Settings (you can type Settings on the start menu to search for it) > Bluetooth & devices on the left side > Printers & scanners. From there you can confirm that the printer is added. If it isn't added, you can follow these instructions to add the printer. Note that after adding the label printer in Windows, a reboot is required for it to show up in aO.
If the printer is showing up in aO but when you print a label nothing happens. Confirm the following.
- Confirm that the printer is plugged into power and powered on
- Confirm that the printer is connected to ethernet (network) and the light on the front right of the printer is solid
- Confirm that the printer has labels in it, and they are installed correctly
I most situations that is all that is needed. You can check that the device is connected by going to the Gear Icon > Device Mangement page. If the device continues to not show up, please reach out to IT at x3444 or open a ticket using this Template.
