Credit Card Processing Machine – Ingenico Lane/3000

All front desks will have at least 1 Ingenico Lane/3000 Credit Card Machines (CCP) for taking payments. Before you start, confirm that the computer has been rebooted.

If a reboot isn't resolving the issues, confirm the following. When checking the following, note that there is a hub that power, USB and ethernet is connected to that has a single cable coming out to the CCP itself. Make sure that they are connected to both sides.

  1. Confirm the CCP is plugged in to power and powered on
  2. Confirm the CCP is plugged into the USB port on the computer or dock
  3. Confirm the CCP is connected to ethernet.
Checking that ethernet is active on the device, you can pressing 0 on the CCP while it is on the white AthenaHealth splash screen. The last line will show IP Eth: 10.x.x.x if it is connected to the network. If it is showing Merchant: Athena then the CCP isn’t connected to the network, check that the ethernet cable is plugged into the wall and the hub under the desk.

If all those are connected and working, you can restart the CCP by holding the Yellow < and # key together for 3 seconds. That will initiate a force reboot on the device. A reboot takes about 1-2 mins to complete and once it is on the white AthenaHealth splash screen the CCP is ready for use.

I most situations that is all that is needed. You can check that the device is connected by going to the Gear Icon > Device Mangement page. If the device continues to not show up, please reach out to IT at x3444 or open a ticket using this Template.
