Saving Sites and Links in Edge
Q. Why create Bookmarks?
A. Bookmarks
make it easier and faster to access the websites that you go to on a regular
basis, preventing the need to type in the URL each time you would like to
access the site.
- Open
Microsoft Edge.
- Type
in the Address/URL bar the website you would like to add to your favorites.
- Once
on the website, to the right of the Address/URL bar, select the Star symbol:
- A
window will pop up asking you what you would like this website to be displayed
as on your favorites bar:
** Tip **
Call it something that you can easily
recognize the name and where it will take you when selected.
- Once
you have input a name for your favorites bar website, leave the “Folders”
option on Favorites Bar and select Done.
- You
should now see the newly added website on your favorites bar(Underneath the
Address/URL bar) for quick access:
